Super Green Almond Milk Smoothie

If you’re new to the world of green smoothies then this is a great beginner recipe. It takes just 5 minutes to make and packs in plenty of nutritious ingredients, such as spinach, avocado and chia seeds to keep your energy high and immune system strong. This recipe serves three people so you can share with your friends and family or save for later.

INGREDIENTS:

3 cups Plenish Almond M*lk 

1/2 cup loosely packed spinach or kale (25g)

1/2 medium avocado (80g)

2 bananas (200g)

1 tsp chia seeds

4 tbsp almond, cashew or peanut butter

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 – 2 tbsp maple syrup or 1 – 2 dates, stones removed, or to taste

6 ice cubes

METHOD:

Place all the ingredients (except the ice) in a high-speed blender. Blitz.

Once blended, add the ice and blend again until smooth.

Adjust to your desired thickness with more almond milk if required. Taste and adjust sweetness to your liking.
