How to Make Vegan Cream

Method:

1. Prep by soaking the cashews in water for 6 – 8 hours.

2. Drain and rinse the cashews.

3. Add the drained cashews to a high-speed blender with almond milk, vanilla and optional maple to taste. Blitz on high speed for 3 minutes until creamy.

4. Cover and place in the fridge to chill for 30 minutes to 1 hour. For a thicker cream, add less almond milk, and for a thinner cream, add a little more (approx 1 tbsp).

This effortless vegan cream is perfect for drizzling all over your strawberries, or if you make it a little thicker, you can have it with vegan scones and jam. Once you’ve aced that recipe, you can serve it with your strawberries, a glass of Pimm’s, and a large TV screen to enjoy all the triumphs from the world’s greatest tennis tournament. What’s not to love?
