Overnight oats with Almond Milk

What are overnight oats?

If you haven’t had the pleasure of trying overnight oats yet, you might be wondering what they are. Overnight oats are rolled oats soaked overnight in the fridge with other ingredients. The oats are soaked instead of cooking them as the soaking process makes them soft and creamy enough to eat without heating.

How do you make overnight oats?

There are so many different recipes for overnight oats, but for the base of these recipes, you’ll need rolled oats (use gluten-free oats if needed) and Plenish Almond Milk. You’ll be mixing the ingredients into a mason jar and then popping them in the fridge overnight so you can enjoy them the next morning. It’s that simple. You can use another container, but a mason jar ensures the ingredients are airtight, plus you can layer your ingredients to make your breakfast look pretty enough to serve to guests. As a rough ratio, use two parts almond milk to one part oats. You can even make this in bulk to get you breakfast-ready for a few days. You can get creative with this breakfast by adding extra toppings like fruit, seeds or even spices.
